It always made me feel bad.
I hated people making fun of me and laughing at me. They said, "Teddy’s
got cooties, Teddy’s got cooties."
The truth is that once I
learned how to make a cootie catcher, I
did the same thing. I told people they
had cooties. As a matter of fact all my
tests came back that everybody had cooties. Was I wrong?
Being unkind violates some of our values? Which ones and why?
Rules, respect, responsibility, relationship with the
Lord, Love of Jesus, Education, education, education.
When we pick on others or when they pick on us are we being

Here's how a cootie catcher can turn into a fun toy.
Instead of cooties,
Put words of encouragement in the mouth of the catcher? Example:
Will you be my friend? God Loves you! You’re nice,
Craft: Make NICE Cootie catchers with no cooties!
Jesus replied: “Love
