Lesson 2
Respect
Have you ever been told you had cooties?   Most people have.
Let me show you a cootie detector.  Now the reason I know how to make this is because when I was a little boy in school. The kids seem to always say I had cooties.
Let me  test some of you.   They all have cooties.
How did you get cooties?
How does it feel when someone tells you  have cooties?

It always made me feel bad.   I hated people making fun of me and laughing at me.
They said,  Teddy’s got cooties,  Teddy’s got cotties.

The truth is once I learned how to make a cootie catcher,   I did the same thing.   I told people they had cooties.   As a matter of fact all my test came back that everybody had cooties.   Was I wrong

What other ways can we show kindness to others?

Instead of cooties,   Put words of encouragement in the mouth of the catcher?  Example:
